Zen Meditation: A New Way of Life - A very good book on meditation, by Bruce Lipton, who is a very well-known meditation teacher. There are lots of free programs, so I don't recommend this one. I would say this is the most effective and effective program to learn meditation for beginners. The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program: A Practical Guide for Self-Reliance and Positive Change - by Timothy Ferriss. This program includes all the techniques, and works on a very broad level.
